I lived there for three weeks and got very ill. I noticed a black moldy bubble on the ceiling of the shower area but didn't think any of it. After visiting twelve doctors and not being able to find out why I was so sick someone mentioned testing the air quality of my apartment. I work in the hotel industry and there has been a lot of lawsuits due to toxic mold, so I called maintenance to have that black bubble looked at and when maintenance showed up, the guy just popped the bubble contaminating everything in my apartment. I have photos if anyone wants to see them.

I hired a company specialized in testing air quality to discover that there were very high levels of stachybotris and other very toxic molds that were causing all my respiratory illness and nose bleeds as wells as not being able to work for almost three weeks.

I talked to management and they did remediation but wanted to move me into another apartment in the same building. However, I know mold spores travel everywhere through the vents so I asked them to test the apartment they wanted me to move into a floor above and it also had stachybotris.

After going back and forward, they finally agreed on letting me out of my lease but I lost all I had in that apartment due to contamination, they never paid for any initial testings or medical expenses.

The reason for toxic mold, a leak in the floor above me that wasn't fixed on time causing all the dry walls to be covered with toxic mold finally finding its way out through the ceiling of my bathroom. I asked for the remediation and other testing reports but they never gave them to me either. The place is very shady.
