A total dump

The worst apartment complex I have ever or will ever live in. I've lived in some dumps, but Meadow Creek was the worst because they try and sell themselves as a near luxury complex. WRONG WRONG WRONG.

My unit was smelly, ant ridden, cramped, and shoddy. The so-called "newly remodled" unit was a joke. Carpet didn't reach all the way to the walls, plugs would just fall out of the electrical sockets, the kitchen floor had stains on it, and there was only one phone jack for the entire two bedroom apt.

When you pay to have an air conditioned unit, look out. The complex doesn't turn on the A/C capability until May. 85 degree days in April' Too damn bad, turn on your A/C in April and all you get is heat.

The heat was out totally for two days straight in January, I called maintenance, all I got was a rude "yeah yeah we're working on it" Of course, the utilitly bill was not adjusted to reflect the outage. Totally unacceptable.

They claim to not allow solicitation in the complex, but Qwest and AT&T are contracted for phone and cable, so expect numerous annoying door to door visits from reps trying to sell you something. When I called the managment they said since Meadow Creek contracts those companies, they can't do anything to stop the door to door sales visits.

The walls are so paper thin that I could hear the guy who lived above me snoring at night. When he played his music or TV it as was if it was playing in my living room.

The grounds are littered and the parking lot is unkept. The entire complex is unpleasent to look at.

But the absolute worst is the outrageous price they charge for their dumpy units. I paid $1075 for a two bedroom. That's luxury price for a shoddy disgusting unit.

The combination of sky high rental price, terrible quality unit, and poor, rude service guarentees that I will advise everyone I know to never consider Meadow Creek Apartments.
