Not bad for the money

After reading all the poor reviews and because I'm moving here from a home I own (out of state), I was very skeptical of Meadow Creek.
We've been here a month, and so far, it's been fine. There's nothing special about the apartments, and I certainly wouldn't call them luxury, but for the money, it's a good deal. The place is quiet, but I think it's due more to having good neighbors than sound-proof construction. Overall layout is fine. Seems to be enough storage / closet / cabinet space.
Exterior is fine, well-lit. Plenty of parking. Can't comment on overall security and safety yet because we haven't been here long, but no problems so far. Garages are a plus (and the main reason we moved here).. but be forewarned... they have NO outlets. If you planned on doing anything in your garage other than parking a car or storing stuff, forget it.
We have yet to get a utility bill, but I'm a bit nervous it will be high. Units don't seem to be insulated exceptionally well, and the fact that each apartment isn't seperately metered and billed by X-Cel (vs by the complex) leaves a lot of room for overcharging.
If things change over the next few months, I'll amend this review or post another one. As of now, it's a fine place to live and save a bit of cash, so you can go drop a half million dollars on a 2 bedroom shack of a house in Boulder :-)
