Years at this apartment: 2001 - 2002
The complex in on centralized heat and a/c, and each unit had a fan control to blow the hot/cold air out of the vents. This made for uncomfortable conditions in spring and fall. Rumor was that they were old project housing apartments that were converted and "upgraded". The paint was thin and peeled off the walls if anything touched it. The cabinets were cheap and falling apart. Quite often the heat or a/c would not work at all, and after 9 months of living there, the switch in our thermostat disappeared after an inspection. In the winter the windows in the bedrooms leaked cold air. It was not the worst place I have lived, but far from the best. And the prices were ridiculous for the quality.
