If you are looking for a nice and quite place to live, this is not the place for you. We have been living here for 6 months and signed a 12 month lease and cannot wait to get out of here. While your sitting in your living room you can here yor next door neighbor cough, sneeze, talk, their television and if you are lucky enough you can hear the snooring as well. Not to mention the noise you can hear from the people upstairs. Everytime someone walks up there it seems as if the ceiling is going to collapse. We have a family that has children and the children are always screaming running back and forth throughout the apartment and you can hear them jumping and wrestling on the floor as well. Seriously it sounds as though there is a bunch of buffalo up there. Believe me when I say that it does seem like the the roof is going to cave through. No one has respect here for people living below them. Ants are everywhere especially in the bathroom. There is never any parking, you come home at night you have to park somewhere at another building. They talk about having a gated fence, the gates never work anyone can just drop on by. Don't plan on paying for a cheap bill when it comes to the gas charges. WE did not use our heat for a month and was charged 50 dollars...as a matter of fact the heat and air conditioning runs even though you have it turned off. When it is a windy day which is 75% of the time here in Boulder, you can hear the wind coming in through the door and any other window in the apartment, especially if you are facing the west. The doors are poorly insulated. Which causes for flooding as well. We thought this was a nice place when we came to look at the apartments but the nightmare really happenes when you move in.
