Sterling University Peaks formerly Buffalo Apartments

OK for a student.
From: -Anonymous-Date posted: 3/19/2002
Years at this apartment: 1999 - 2001
PROS:
Close proximity to CU Boulder, Route 36.
AT&T Cable modem service available.
Cable TV included.
Furnished.
Cheap rent, inexpensive utilities.
CONS:
This is basically a dormitory, but with private bathrooms (shared kitchens). Lots of partying going on, esp upper floors.
Neighborhood is mediocre. Some homeless wandering around, cars parked on the street at night may be broken into. During the day there are no problems.
Apartment furnishings were new in 1999, but cheap. They used mostly student labor for maintenance and office staff.
Parking is enforced. Friends visiting overnight will have a hard time finding a place to put their car.
Don't go in the pool/jacuzzi. They sanitize it but what people do in there will make you think twice.
OVERALL:
Convenient if you are a student. Working professionals can afford better.
