Me and my buddy pay abt 1300/mo for a twin apartment. The rooms are decently big, but the quality of EVERYTHING is crappy. It looks good at first sight, but for example:
READ THE FOLLOWING. THEN DONT MOVE HERE!
Carpets got stains that dont go away.
Bathroom is just awful. The shower handle simply doesnt work, is all twisted, pieces fall off from the tub, the floor is damaged, the fans are so loud you cant hear yourself think.
The wardrobe with sliding doors was totally broken when I first got here, they promised to fix it within the following week. Somehow my dresser was missing too. 40 days LATER they still havent got back to me!! All they've done is get me a false bill (which was totally wrong, it was already paid for).
The wardrobe is ridicolously ugly. It looks like it was totally damaged, then a 5 year old tried to fix it, and then they said what the hell .. lets just paint the whole thing, no one will notice! REALLY bad.
The A/C is shared. one needs to have the same temp in both apts. Very nice when I like my room warmer, and my buddy colder. Theres a constant fight going on about that.
Kitchen is mostly just disguisting. New fridge and that ----, but the overall look is worn out, plastic and DISGUISTING!
Heaters are bent and damaged. Curtains for the kitchen window won't move. Nothing gets fixed.
My door has had its # plate ripped off, and theyve just painted over the hole and drawn a number with a PEN on it instead!
We hired furnished, invaluable for our part since we moved over a great distance. BUT I tell you, we could have bought all furniture in the whole apt for less than $200. Everything is as low end as it possibly can get, the couch looks so awful you dont want to sit in it..
No security at all. The doors have keycode locks, but the doors are always open! I've heard that the front door have been bent and not working for over 2 years now.
Mailboxes are all bent. In fact I can't even close mine properly. Top security.
Fitness facility is a joke, too. It got a large fan thats always on, and you cant talk in there because it makes so much noise. The machines all have stains, smell bad and over 50% have missing parts or is broken. Hantles are missing. The tanning room is never looked over, paper tissues have been out for weeks. Never cleaned.
We practically live in the basement, and the areas are really disguisting. They didnt tell us that we wouldnt get proper windows and that we would be lowered into the ground..!
Ive experienced at least 4 really loud parties here, so loud you cant get a rest. We've been here for a month, and the police has been here at least 3 times so far from my knowledge.
The outdoor area is kind of nice, got a pool thats decent and a pretty sweet hot tub. It also got some benches and what looks like a lawn. Only its VERY yellow, no sprinklers or anything, the grass wont grow there at all. The pool and the hot tub are the only things worthwhile here. Even though the lights dont work for the most part, the hot tub often gets VERY chilly, and maintenance takes a couple days to fix everything.
When something can squeek, it squeeks. Doors squeek, floors squeek, the outdoor wood floor squeek, the stairs squeek. All with a little smelly feel, many doors wont close, etc.
SO!! It looks good on a first sight, granted. BUT even if everything worked fine, $1300 is relly pricey! AND WHEN IT DOESNT WORK, DONT MOVE HERE!! YOU FEEL CHEATED, NEGLECTED AND RAPED.
