I lived here since January of 2007. Back then this place was honestly a craphole. I basically had no other choice back then and had to find a place. I watched as staff changed repeatedly. The worst part was one of their old maintenance people used to party at the pool all the time with the tenants. I was ready to bolt when the summer of 2007 came around but with free utilities with the rent this was still my best option. As much as I didn't want to I had to stay. So heading into the summer there was a ton wrong with this builing.
-None of the glass doors outside locked. Anybody could get in.
-There is electronic locks on the inside doors that never worked.
-My A.C. NEVER WORKED and it was hot as hell over the summer
-There were constant parties in the courtyard
-There was never any parking. People who didn't live here would take all the spots
- The fitness center equipment ws broke,

I could go on and on. It was amazing how sh*tty this place looked.

Then before school started for the fall they changed staff again. The whole maintenance team got fired and they brought in once again a new manager. I pretty mcuh thought that it would be the same ol song and dance. This was different though...the new maintenance guys (older guys) were cool and they actually talked to the residents. My A.C. got fixed right away (even though Summer was winding up). Stuff around the building started to get fixed.

Looking back now here is what they've done to improve the place.
-Outside glass doors all work now
- Inside doors with that little electronic buzzer all work
- All computers in the lab work
- There was no problems with the heat over the winter and John one of the maintenance guys came and looked at my A.C. in March to see if there was any problems with it. I assume he did that for everybody
-The grass out by the pool is green and not dead brown
-The deck above the pool is remodeled and stable
- The fitness room equipment all works adn they added a punching bag which rocks
- BIG ONE: They boot cars to whoever isn't living here. THere's actually spaces to park now.
- I came home late one night and saw a security guard talking to people out at the hot tub and he escorted them out. Not sure when this started but I hope it keeps up

There's a lot of minor things I could name off also. Basically what i'm saying is what a difference a year makes. Sure there's a few things that bug me still...making me move my car to paint the lines in the parking lot, or when people are jerking around in the parking lot throwing a football or frisbee and hitting cars...but I can say I've pulled a 180 on this place. I've read some of the reviews on this site....I can't say I've seen prostitution, manufacturing of weapons or any of that stuff going down. Sounds like somebody is a nutcase!!! If you're looking at reviews back from last summer on back then yes this place was a dump and you shouldn't have lived here but now with all the changes I would take a look at it.
