Here is my honest opinion about Tantra Lake Apartments. I lived there for two years while getting my aerospace engineering degree at CU. The plain truth is the management is a badly compiled group of retards. When my roommates and I first moved in the ladies in the office were very nice but definitely not the smartest. One lady had about 15 framed employee of the month certificates and damn was she dumb. I think since she ran the office she just made herself employee of the month every month. They would try to be helpful, but really had no idea what they were doing so I would say they get a gold star for effort. After six months or so Omni Property Management bought Tantra, fired the special ed managers and brought in a short bus load of sorority gang bang rejects to run the place. The first thing they did was start charging us for water we werent using. Then they decided to make condos out of the townhouses and sell them at ridiculous prices to rich Californians who want to send their trustafarian kids to CU. We planned to stay another year in our apartment but right after we signed the lease again they sold our townhouse and made us move to another one in a much worse location (congested parking, farther from bus stop and park). Then in order to transform them into condos they started the most unorganized construction project. We were given two days notice that our parking lot was going to be ripped up so some ugly ass garages could be built and rented to the tenets at some ridiculous price or sold with the condos. The garage construction took three times as long as we were promised. If your car was parked in a spot that the illegal Mexican labors (who for some reason needed a ladder for installing the sprinkler system) need to pile dirt in they would tow your car. The construction foreman was also a real ------- and Imp pretty sure was banging one of the women who worked in the sales office. After the garages got built they remarked the parking lots so that the spaces smaller, which made parking a compact truck like mine between two other vehicles nearly impossible. Eventually I started parking in the Leasing office lot. Then they started assigning spaces to condos that were sold to people who didnt want to pay for the garage. When they couldnt sell the garages they tried to lower the monthly rent on them but by then everybody was so fed up that they still couldnt sell the garages. By the end of our second lease we had had enough of Tantra Lake's bull ---- so we moved out. It took them twice as long as stated in the lease to get our deposit back, even after we threatened legal action.

The actual townhouses are pretty nice inside, but have been painted ugly colors outside in an attempt to sell them as condos. The close location to the park is cool too. The "lake" or dirty ass pond attracted a lot of geese that would then ---- all over everything. The one good thing that Omni did was renovate the pool, club house, and workout room. They tried to be exclusive by putting a lock on the door to the club house and rec room that could only be opened by typing a code on a numeric key pad. But if you yank on the door a little harder than usual it would open. The toilets on the ground level of the townhouses could hardly flush your piss. They were constantly clogged.

Tantra Lake is a nice place run by a bunch of retards.
