My roomates and I just moved out before fall '05 semester. After waiting almost three months for our deposit, it was very wrong. They thought our deposit was half of what it actually was and they thought the pet deposit was about 1/3 of what it really was. Everyone there has the same deposit yet somehow those idiots (especially the property manager) thought we were different. We had to find all the documents/contracts we signed to prove to them and then they still didn't believe us! So we had to go to the bank and go through every check we ever wrote them to get our money back! Oh and this is the best part - after showing them the checks proving our $1000 deposit, they suddenly tried to add on an extra $150 from "cleaning/damages" even though the place had been appraised cleaned by them 3 months earlier! Remember - just because it looks nice and the groundskeeping staff is really nice, the management is a nightmare! Don't live there! And friends don't let friends live at Tantra!
