My patio was a haven with a tree to provide shade. A place to rest and be mellow. A place to meditate. Without notice the management cut the tree, doing damage to all my plants. I came home from work to find a barren landscape. I felt raped. This place is the most inconsiderate and inhuman place I have ever lived in.

In addition, the walls between units may as well not be there. I hear my neighbors sneeze cough, open dresser drawers, closet doors, and about every word they say. There is no soundproofing between the units. There is also about no insulation in the attic either so the furnace runs almost constantly just to maintain 69 degrees. The furnace is also located in a closed next to the dining area. Every time it turns on it is so noisy you cannot have a conversation. And it is rated as one of the lowest efficiency furnaces. Same with the water heater. Lowest efficiency one made. Both furnace and water heater were just replaced so there is no excuse. Plus they do not pull the needed permits so who knows if they are even installed properly'

I am moving out of this place as soon as my lease is up.

DO NOT RENT HERE!!!!

I am considering moving to Tantra Lakes as it offers the most for the money in Boulder (and my 5lb dog will have a home!). I don't want to have to purchase a gym membership and the free WiFi at the club house is awesome because I work online, so I rarely use the internet at home. Right now I pay the same amount in rent, have no yard, and the only amenity is 'on-sight laundry' that's coin operated and we have to pay for the water and electricity it uses. Despite all the valid complaints in this review, it's nothing like what I've put up with from Boulder Property Management (unexpected/unscheduled maintenance calls while I was in the shower, and a $25 per light bulb charge, even though I replaced all of them with BPM's required 60 watt bulbs prior to moving, taken out of my deposit because they couldn't find anything else to charge me for), and Four Star (they put an 8 foot fence up through the courtyard we share with another property, and were planning to tow my truck before they found out it belonged to a tenant, without sending out a letter first). So, even though this person's private haven was ruined, at least the grounds *appear* to have many places that are peaceful enough to enjoy some quiet outdoors time. I imagine (maybe I'm just being hopeful here) that emphasizing the things that are important to one influences the amount of notice one would get on the pruning schedule. I would think it was merely an oversight on their part. At least they're not sending strange painters into your apartment without warning you when you're showering.
