Tantra Lake Apartments

Well, at first I was pretty excited about this place, seemed great, and there are pretty nice grounds for the most part. I was mainly unhappy with the fact that we had originally asked to be put into a 600sq.ft. apt, and were told all through the process that that is what we would be getting. After all paperwork was signed, and we located our place, we found that the place was actually 500sq.ft. Even after measuring myself and contacting management about the issue, I have been told that my place is actually 600 sq.ft. and must be a problem with how I measured. I was told that I would need to contact the original contractor to ask for blueprints' really' I probably would have given better review if they would have even offered to get me into the right space and I would have no problem paying the difference or anything, but nothing was offered and staff was completely unhelpful. This is what many would call a 'Bait and Switch' technique. I would have loved to have walked away with a better outlook, and I probably would have stayed longer, if something was done to correct the error. Also, the pipes are louder than anything I have ever heard before. I regret this move, even though most of my neighbors all seem to be happy.

Welcome to the club!!! These people are terrible. It has been 5 years since I was there and I still stew about it at night sometimes.

I completely agree! The walls are paper thin and the staff act high and mighty riding around on their golf carts. I currently live there and have also had the "bait and switch" pulled on me. Not to mention the appliances are from the 70's. Grounds are nice, apartments... no so much. You can get WAY more for this kind of money even in Boulder.

The same sort of thing is happening to us, we were promised a 1300 sq ft three bedroom town home but when move in time drew closer, the staff said they had none available and offered to put me and my two roommates into a 740 sq ft two bedroom apartment. Totally not what we agreed to! We have not made our final decision to move in yet, but we are looking at the apartment on Monday. Wish us luck to make the right decision.
