Expensive, but close to campus

The apartment isn't very big, but it still costs about $1000 per month for a two-bedroom, water & heat included. However, it is right next to campus... I can wake up ten minutes before class and still make it on time, so if you're a student it is a really awesome location.
Property management seems allright, and the place is very clean, (at least when you move in). Maintenance is awesome, often repairing problems on the same day that you report them.
HOWEVER, crime in this area is very high. All of my friends have gotten their cars broken into. My roommate has gotten his bike stolen from the racks so we have to keep them inside. The apartment two doors down from us had their deadbolt KICKED IN one Saturday night and were robbed. I assume this is par for the course for neighborhoods near large college campuses, but that doesn't make it any less disconcerting.
Overall, I recommend Timberridge for students who can afford to pay $500 per month in rent and want to be able to bike or walk to campus. However, If you don't have business on campus you're probably better off picking an apartment farther away to get more space, security and cheaper rent.
