We found this apartment online and thought we were getting a pretty good deal. We were told our apartment was 800 square feet and included a microwave, dishwasher, and built-in book shelves. When we moved in, there was no bookshelf, no dishwasher, no microwave. Management told us that if we wanted those things we'd have to take a smaller apartment and refused to take responsibility for what they told us. We also felt like our apartment was not as big as they said it was, so we decided to measure it out for ourselves. Despite all of their advertisements and their official documents about the size of the apartments, out apartment is actually only 570 square feet, not the 800 we were told. They blatantly lied to us so they can charge more money. Aside from that, management is rarely in the office during posted hours and occasionally misplaces packages for several days. They are extremely rude about packages and office hours and seem to believe that should not be bothered to be open when they say they will be. On top of this, they charge us $50 a month for heat and hot water on top of rent. Our apartment is a small two-bedroom and there is no chance we use that much heat and hot water. This place is so hot because there is no cross breeze that we rarely turn on the heat, even in the dead of winter. On top of all of this, they tried to force us to renew our lease 6 months before it expired with a rent increase of $60/month, telling us that if we don't renew now they will raise rent even more.

Management here is dishonest, inconsiderate, and unprofessional. They have ripped us off in every conceivable way. I would recommend staying as far away from here as possible.
