Timber Ridge Apts

i moved in after spring semester 2008.
the ONLY issue i have thus far is the absolutely HORRIBLE insulation in my room.
i live on the end of one of the buildings, and get direct sunlight the entire day. even though it may be in the 30s outside, it is never under 83 in my bedroom.
im slightly concerned about the staircases.
they had a guy "repairing" them the other day, and he only fixed the bottom step.
they are really flimsy and made of suspended concrete- im kind of nervous about eating face in the winter, due to ice.
i do pay more rent than what is listed on the site.
it seemed like they had a bunch of "add-on's" when i signed my lease, but the location is really good.
the carpet was totally fubar when i moved in.
it was totally thread bare and had been melted by the cleaners who had come in for the previous tenant.
when i was signing the lease, they said i could sign a carpet waver, but they never followed up on it- not even when i asked.

Seriously, same for me as well, I had huge holes in the wall and I marked them on my sheet, including their precise location, and yet was still charged for them. Dont let yourself get ----ed over, make (lorie?) give you that waiver

Don't just drop the carpet issue. After I moved out they charged me for stuff that I had listed on my damage report when I moved in. They are notorious for charging you for stuff that is really not your deal.
