Very quiet, decent but expensive

I moved here when I transferred to CU in January. It's a nice apartment complex, everything works, and its safe inside because it requires keyed entry, and each individual room locks within the apartment, plus all the apartments are at on the second floor or higher. Each room has its own bathroom with full-size bathtub too!
It is ridiculously quiet! I don't mind quiet and don't party, but its too quiet even for me! There is an abandoned building across the street - used to be a nursing home for the elderly poor - and it has broken windows, and absolutely no lights! So half the street is pitch black, and really creepy! I don't feel safe walking from campus to my apartment at night, but I do feel safe in my apartment.
I am on the 'first' floor, so the parking garage is below me which means I can here people's loud music when they drive up, and engines revving, but its alot less noticeable if I close the window. Also, raccoons! There are crazy giant raccoons here! You can here them squealing at night, and sometimes they jump out of the dumpster! I have literally shined my flashlight on two of them sitting on the ledge across from my window! Kinda creepy!
I'm moving because they do not allow pets and because there are never any people around (good thing I have roommates!).
Oh yeah, they bake cookies EVERY DAY! and have free coffee! And there is a TV in the main room that you can use whenever you want to.
