I moved into Camden in March 2007. I have an apartment above me. Imagine my surprise when, after a rainstorm 3 weeks ago, water started leaking from the ceilings onto my kitchen counter and proceeded to travel down the living ceiling and bead up on the ceiling. Also, water dripped in from the top of a kitchen window. I reported the problem, maintenance man came to look at it. Two weeks later, same problem - water coming in from covered patio roof again into interior ceiling areas. Reported problem, two days later a maintenance man came and looked. Saturday night, water came in again, ceiling seams opened up dripping water all over carpet, kitchen counter, now seams inside along patio slider were also dripping inside. Called emergency number, and agent told me there was nothing he could do. Promised to come over at either noon or five o'clock on Sunday, no show, no call.

Am living with plastic on furniture, towels on counter. No calls back from management as to how they plan to fix this problem. I wrote to corporate office. Let's see if they care.

The maintenance guys are terrible and so is the management staff!

I live at Camden and my ceiling leaks as well. My experience with the maintenance has been practically identical. The maintenance guy came by, looked at it, said it needed to be repaired on both the outside and inside and promised to return with the proper equipment. Nobody ever came back and it still leaks every time it rains. I am too busy to deal with this stuff, so I too am living with towels and plastic wrap at the moment.
