The management just informed me that my rent which i paid online came back insufficient. I had recently changed banks, yet there was no place on the website to view payment information, so i inadvertently paid with the old account. They proceeded to charge me a $50 late fee, a $50 return payment fee, and on top of that $5 dollars a day late fee(when i didn't even know my payment was late). The manager would not budge on any of the fees.
Other things to point out-
-Multiple times i was late for work because my garage door wouldn't open, to get an extra clicker, thats right $50 dollar fee for a problem which is theirs.
-For 6 months i told them i was getting noise from my chimney due to the wind (THERE IS A LOT OF WIND), yet they did nothing, said it was normal. Turns out there was a loose metalic play that needed to simply be rescrewed on to stop the noise.
-There is a leak in my roof when it rains. I came back from vacation and my dresser was ruined. They came out to fix the leak, and guess what happened the next time it rained. Thats right, same leak.
- The foundation is shifting and sometimes I can't open my patio door due to the shift.
The location of the apartments is nice, but you would do much better at another apartment nearby.
