From the beginning, I should have known that this place was bad. We wanted two keys for the mailbox. After they had made three sets of keys, I told them that one would work.
Very poor management and maintenance. Our apartment, 1 Bd/1 Ba, had a drippy faucet, leaking windows, leaking toilet, broken closet rails, broken window blinds (which maintenance said worked fine), missing stove drip pans, a furnace filter that probably was the first ever installed in the apartments and broken kitchen drawers.
On the outside, the place was mostly dilapidated. The pools were gross, I think the filter was broke most of the time. The "bright" maintenance folks decided to fix that by increasing the amount of chlorine in the water. Ouch.
Cascade Village conveniently borders a train track, which has two trains blow through at 1 and 4 AM. One the other side is what I like to call the "Westminster Speedway" otherwise known as 92nd Street. All the trash and their supped up Cameros race up and down 92nd all night long. I guess that the Westm'r PD has better things to do.
Don't fall into the management's sales pitch, they really don't know what's going on.
If you haven't read any of the above PLEASE READ THIS!
They have had 4 Property managers and 3 Maintenance managers in the last 6 months.
Nuff Said!
