Not the best place for the Money....

After living at Cascade village for nearly a year, I have found the experience is not worth the money. While the move-in specials and low deposit advertisements might appeal to unsuspecting applicants, there's a lot of things that aren't explained in the small print. Based on my experience, this is what I found to be enough to make me look forward to the end of my lease: 1.) Unorganized management; they lose the rent check, throw away the envelopes and cover letters, then demand you pay them 1300 by the next day, or else risk eviction. One office lady will tell you you must pay the entire amount, or else they will confinscate your personal property. Luckily, the other guy told us not to worry about it. Just fair warning, keep copies of everything since the office staff can't. 2.) The rent is reasonable, until you have to rent garages to keep your cars from being broken into (1st month) dented (4th month) and able to drive when the parking lot gets snowed in.
3.) Apartment staff goes in and out of your apartment at will. Between maintenance checks, filter changes, and pre move out inspections... dont think of leaving anything you dont want other people to see. Better yet, buy a huge barking dog (like everyone else there who lives there) to keep the management out of your apartment.
4.) the residents all seem to be friendly. However, people love to drive fast through the parking lots. Watch your dogs and small children... we might just run them over to get that good parking spot!
