NOT WORTH THE OVERPRICED RENT

After major rent increases from last year I realized that compared to other properties in Broomfield, the rent at Deer Crest is completely inflated. Some changes have been made recently but they do not directly affect tenants (i.e. painted buildings, new roofs, routine maintenance). Deer Crest is a mediocre property with very basic amenities and for the money, you could live somewhere else in Broomfield in a much higher-end apartment. It is a very corporate environment and there is certainly no personal touch from the staff. Everyone is a number and they could care less if people move out as long as they collect as much money as possible. Live somewhere else for the money.

I agree. The management have no care for their tenants. The rent has gone way up to where it is totally not worth it. All they did was paint the place and supposedly fix holes in the roof (there are still squirrels that use the attic above me as a playground). This complex is over 25 years old and the amenities are basic at best. There are much newer, nicer & less expensive places to live in Broomfield and neighboring areas (Lafayette & Westminster)
