PROS AND CONS

Would I be lying if I said this is the perfect place to live' Sure, but when you find perfect let me know. Lets start with the cons.......
These apartments are old and it shows. The tile around the fireplace is 80's and not something I would have chosen myself. Things need fixing a little more than in most apartments. The closet doors are big, metal and make lots of noise when opened. The staff forgot when I placed a work order and I had to call them to find out what happened and if they were still coming. They seem to be spending their money on the office rather than the apartments themselves (They recently built a new club house and have now shut down the main pool to put in a much needed spa). Some dumb kids stole the fire extinguisher near the apartments below us. It took about a week after it was reported for them to clean up all of the broken glass and the fire extinguisher has yet to be replaced (it has been over a month now).
Now the pros which far out weigh the cons........
These have a wood-burning fire place in the living room which really saves on your utility bill. The staff is very friendly and never too pushy about things (this includes maintainence). The office is open until 6pm allowing those of us who work until 5 to make it in time. There are monthly activities to allow you to get to know the other tenants and the staff better. This is an incredibly animal friendly community. I have a puppy and they allowed me to keep her there even though she is supposed to be a year old. They do not fine you for every little thing like most apartments do. The grounds are maintained very well. Rent is affordable. There is a very rustic look that is worth showing off. Although things need fixing, they are always fixed right the first time. EVERY sink in the apartment has a filter and they have been changed once already since move-in. There are two pools to swim at.
I would HIGHLY recommend this apartment community for move-in. I plan on signing for another year when my lease is up in December.
