I lived at Deer Crest for 6 months since I was transitioning to a new job. Here is my opinion:

Location: Loved it. Perfectly situated between Denver and Broomfield. If you apartment faces the right way, you have a great view of the Rockies.

Apartment: I had a 1 BR apartment. The 3rd floor offers a vaulted ceiling and skylight. The bedroom, living room and dining area were a large for an apartment. The bedroom and bathroom were nice and functional.

Grounds: When I was at Deer Crest, they were putting the finishing touches on a much needed state-of-the-art clubhouse. The old weight room was adequate, but the new one will knock your socks off. I wish I could have stayed a couple of extra weeks to use the new facilities. The only drawback during this time was the roads around the construction were pretty torn up. I'm sure that is all fixed by now.

Staff: I can't say enough good things about the staff -- Expedient. Knowledgeble. Helpful. They helped make my stay, albeit a brief one, enjoyable.

Look...I know apartment living is not glamorous. It was a complete shock to my system since I had not lived in an apartment for 15 years. All apartments have problems. Deer Crest is not the Taj Mahal. But MY review was based MY stay there. I had no issues while I was there. If I would have stayed longer, I'm sure I would have found several things wrong with Deer Crest. What's shameful? An anonymous post accusing someone that you don't even know about something you have no clue what you are writing about.
