Where do I start... *coughs violently* Thanks to the toxic black mold growing all over the bathroom and bedroom *coughs* Me and my girlfriend have been feeling horrible since we moved here. The mold has been here for years, managements response is "its mildew" and they re-cualk over it. Gee, thanks. I can watch it grow right back through. (they also re-cualk everything before you move in, so you cannot see the mold at first). Appliances are from the 70's (possibly 60's) and all broke within a couple months. They have been fixed, but im sure they will be breaking again soon, and the maintenance crew look like people you really dont want in your house. Heating is provided by clicking, tapping hot water heaters. Speaking of hot water, the temperature of the tap water gets up to 200 degrees !!!! (has to be illegal) Very close to boiling, no joke. Do Not let children use unattended. 1 bedroom place is cramped, bad layout. Carpets were ok, countertops old, and looked to have been sprayed over before occupancy. (probably so they can charge for every little scratch at move-out). The building itself is disgusting. Rusting badly around stairs (peices hanging off that have rusted out), and courtyard area has a very foul odor. We are suppose to have secured entry, but the back door is broken constantly. Front door on building locks, and is supposed to have a intercom, but it doesnt work. Even the mailboxes are crappy, and can easily be pulled open without a key.
Parking is un-imaginable, with around 5 tenants being booted nightly for various reasons. Neighbors are rough, scary looking types, and after 7 months we have gladly not met a soul. So why did we move in''' The price *seems* right @ 450/month. until you come across ALL the problems. Now they could pay me $450/month and I still wouldnt want to be here, it would not be worth it, I fell my health is at risk becuase of the mold problem and will be moving ASAP. If you would like to risk your health, be un-comfortable, and hate yourself for making the worst decision of your life...Move on in! you can have our place, Check out that black crap in the corner...gross huh.
