We have lived here twice in 5 years. 5 years ago this place was headed down hill fast. At somepoint management changed and now It is safe and clean. The second time we rented was to help out my brother in law get on his feet. He couldn't afford the place alone and it was convenient for work since we do 4 on and 3 off shift work. We actually own a home way east of town, so this was a short return to the city. I noticed this time that the cops show up much less often. Because they don't need to. Place is relatively quiet and is very family oriented. Nice playground and outdoor swimming pool. Neighbors are all nice, lower middle class folks trying to move up. Great for college students. Clean and safe. Basic appliances, nothing fancy. Affordable. We paid a little higher price because we wanted month to month. But lease will get you 625 a month to start. And Pets are welcome.
