The rent is decent for what you get. The utilities are a bit unfair with heating and water. The utility bill is split between the whole building vs. your individual usage (so if you keep your heat down and a member of the building likes it like an oven, you will pay) Winter months the bill was aprx. $170/month and I kept the temp at 68-72 degrees.
The buildings are going through an exterior renovation witch it needed (you needed a tetanus shot anytime you walked up or down the stairs) Up to 2 dogs or cats are permitted with a $200 deposit each.
In the last year the property has absorbed some loud, obnoxious, and spanish speaking only neighbors who let their kids play and scream in the streets (unsupervised) all hours of the day and night. There is a pool, but it is occupied by children and people who do not live in the complex. The summer months are terrible with kids everywhere (from just walking babies to loud teenagers) and the parents nowhere to be found.
Maintenance is on top of things. Things are fixed in a timely manner and or replaced with new. They keep the drives free of snow in the winter and have the walkways salted and clean before you have to leave in the morning. The laundry rooms are always occupied and nearly impossible to wash all your clothes before someone is taking the machine. One major plus was there was always ample parking and the lots are well lit.
