In order to write an accurate review it is important to first share that I live in Building 2, on the third floor, facing the mountains. Having said that, to address the issue of the 3:00AM train, it is simply not a problem from my location. I can hear the train in the distance but definatelly not loud enough to disturb your sleep unless you live in one of the back buildings or are a light sleeper. In regards to the maintenance, I have nothing to complain about. I've lived here for 2 years and only had one small issue with my dishwasher which was promptly solved the same day. I haven't felt the need to interact with the office management too often (not sure why anyone would) but I have found them to usually be helpful and friendly. I have noticed an increase in young people moving in recently but nothing really to complain about, at least not in my building. The parking is plenty but becoming increasingly difficult to find a spot in front of your building. This is most likely because of the design of the parking lot, which leaves plenty of spaces in the back of the community, so you may have to walk a bit if you get home after 10:00PM (good luck after 2:00AM). When I renewed my lease last year my rent was increased by $25.00, which I found very reasonable. Overall this is a great community, convenient location, and a safe neighborhood. I chose Remington West over the other four complexes nearby and I am glad I did. Sure it may cost a bit more, but you get what you pay for. An upgrade from this would be to move to a house, which is the only reason I am leaving this summer. I would recommend Remington West to all my friends, with the caution to be careful about which building you move into.
