I have to agree with all of the negative comments about the office staff. My boyfriend and I were looking for a place and had stopped there around 4:30 on a Sunday (they close at 5). We were sure to check their ad to be sure it didn't say something like "last tour one hour before closing" We showed up and no one was in the office except for a lady trying to pick up a package for a friend who lived in the complex and a guy trying to pay his rent. We had asked the lady if she lived there to get her feedback and she said she didn't she lived a few blocks away at a place she really liked. Once the staff member came back with a couple she had been touring with she asked us all if we were there for a tour, we said we were, the lady said no and the guy said no. She quickly snapped that she closed at 5 and couldn't give us a tour but would give us some info when she was done with this couple. Needless to say my boyfriend and I were pretty unwilling to live there after a response like that. But we waited around to offer some constructive criticism on how they could adjust their advertising and policies so that something like this didn't happen again. The lady whispered to me to come by where she lived becuase something like this would never happen there. We waited and let the staff member help everyone else before she came to us and again said she couldn't give us a tour but could give us a packet. I explained that we didn't want any information because we didn't want to live there now because we didn't apprecaite waiting 1/2 hour to be told we couldn't have a tour. If they wanted to implement a policy that tours stop 1/2 hour before closing they could do so or she could've left a sign on the door that said giving a tour, last one of the day. I told her I didn't think it was very professional to handle it the way she did and that I wanted to call back in the morning to speak to a manger. She said she was sorry that I had to get so violent with her and that on Sundays she is the only staff member there and people often wait a long time for a tour and aren't as violent as I am. In no way was I screaming pointing, raising my hands or doing anything else to be violent. I was speaking in a stern, irritated voice and was definitely being candid. She said she didn't handle the advertising and I said I know, that's why I wanted to call in to talk to someone who did handle the policies and procedures. She rattled off the phone number in about a half a second and asked me my name. I told her my name and she said she would write a detailed email to her manager (she was threatening me). I said thank you and as I was headed out the door she said, goodbye, sorry you had to yell at me. I turned around and said I don't think I was yelling I was just trying...and she interrupted me and said you have a great day! It is hard to convey her sarcastic, smart ass tone in this post, but I think you probably get the picture. Again, I admit I'm sure I was using a voice that was not the friendliest, but in no way was I yelling or moving any part of my body other than my mouth that would suggest violence! Ridiculous...we signed with a complex a little outside of our budget but with a very friendly staff. It's worth the money to us!
