I lived at Remington West for over a year. Was never late w/ my rent, in fact I was almost always early to try and win a free months rent. Signed a new 1 year lease, despite the $65/month increase. My ex-boyfriend found me, beat me (two broken wrists, two black eyes, a concussion, choke marks on my neck). I was still into the first month on my new lease. I gave the office ladies copies of the Restraining Order, copies of multiple police reports, etc. Asked them if I could switch to a month-to-month lease, pay the extra $100 dollars they tack on, and get out of my lease. This was literally a life and death situation. They said no, their computers wouldn't let them change dates on leases. I went above the ladies in the office, and they wouldn't let me do it. Now I have an unpaid debt on my credit, along w/ so many other bills that this jerk left behind. I think Remington West staff was uncaring, not very helpful, rude. I agree with all of the comments. I really liked the apartments and location, but the bad far outweighs the good. The maintenance was also very slow in getting to you. I had numerous problems w/ the refrigerator and washer/dryer. I had to call repeatedly to get someone to fix it, then call repeatedly to have someone re-fix.

If this really happened, this is terrible. But, I had a similar situation and it was quickly and compassionately handled which makes me question the validity of your review.
