The staff will NOT hesitate to screw you over like they did me. Do not sign with these people. I am reporting them to the bureau and hopefully, because of it, they will be acquiring some decent employees. Until that happens...don't bother wasting your money or time.

Your review would carry more weight (or at least, some weight) if you were to include some details. I get the feeling that a lot of these negative reviews born of sour grapes from people who didn't pay their rent and were evicted, paid it late and were fined, damaged their unit and had their deposit revoked, etc, etc, etc. I've lived at Remington West for 9 months now and have been treated with nothing but the utmost courtesy and respect when dealing with the staff.

I've never paid my rent late, never had any damages (Except for a dead flourescent lightbulb when we moved in, which they refused to replace, telling me that since I'd already signed the lease, it was my responsibility) and have not been fined or evicted. That being said, I have to agree with most of these negative reviews, including this one, although as you say, I'd like some more details. I'd read some of them before moving in, but after meeting the 'STAFF' and being told the property had undergone a "revamp" and they had done "New Hiring" of staff, I gave Remington West a chance. The location is great, very central and convenient to both Denver and Boulder. I'd caution anyone reading this from making that same mistake. It does seem that these "rebuttals" of the negative reviews are suspiciously positive and tend to mention the "utmost courtesy" of the staff, or that they are "lovely ladies" or something else telltale that makes it somewhat obvious that the "Staff" (Or "Lovely Ladies, if you will) are the ones writing anything 'positive' or in rebuttal to all these negatives. Just remember, while some negative reviews, even of the classiest, nicest place and people, are bound to be "Sour Grapes"... when the overwhelming majority of reviews on EVERY consumer site are negative, there is obviously something wrong. There are other apartments in the area with similar amenities. There are newer apartments, private rentals, etc. Do your research, and I'd recommend renting elsewhere. Remington West has proven to be as bad as I'd feared.
