The noise is awful, from the dozens of trains a day to the paper thin walls to the stomping of loud, drunken kids at 3 am.

Crime is a problem, from lurking strangers on the property to property destruction in the parking lots. If you want to keep something that's yours, don't put it on your balcony, or chain it there very good, because otherwise it will walk off.

The people in the office are horrid, rude people, who will not even hold a package for you, even if you ask them to sign for a letter. They also condescend to you, like they're so much better than you. HELLO, you little uneducated girls are SECRETARIES! Get over yourselves already.

They post notes on your doors about "UPCOMING MAINTENANCE" and then change their minds about WHERE they are going to do the "MAINTENANCE" at 6 am that day, and pound on your door to tell you to "MOVE YOUR CAR ITS IN THE WAY" or even worse, they DON'T tell you about the changes, and instead just pressure clean your hallway with no notice, leaving a nice big puddle INSIDE your front door. YES INSIDE. ALL OVER YOUR STUFF. Of course, their solution/suggestion of what to do when they were pressure cleaning was to "LEAVE A TOWEL INSIDE ON THE FLOOR WHEN YOU LEAVE YOUR APARTMENT" UMMMMMmmmm geniuses' HOW the EFF am I supposed to LINE MY DOOR on the INSIDE when I've just WALKED OUTSIDE' Ohh, I'll climb out the window, right' Yeah, that doesn't close either.

I'm SICK of this place, and I can't WAIT TO MOVE!! There are cleaner, nicer, cheaper places that AREN'T SITUATED on a TRAIN TRACK and don't have SNOTTY BRATS as secretaries.

hi i am moving from california and looked at this place to rent. it looked nice until i read your review and i am glad i did. if you could please let me know what other apartments are around there i can look at i would love that! thanks

Hi. There are three other apartments on the same block. The only one that we like is now called 5100 Vance (I think) It used to be Calavera Point. They have washer dryers in the units. The other one next door is nice but no washer dryer. There are also places called Amlii or something, off of i36, very new and nice. There are a TON of places farther east, too. ANY PLACE is better than here.
