The people who run this apartment are useless, lazy, deceitful liars. There are one or two "Crazies" living there, as there are in most apartments, but they have apparently befriended the management, since they're the only ones who can actually get ahold of somebody to get something done. One of our appliances hasn't worked since we moved in, and it's been many, many, many months. Their response' "It's supposed to sound like that"
Yeah right.
The noise level is unacceptable, from banging on walls, air conditioning units that clang like a broken train, laundry machines vibrating and rocking and shaking the windows... all this from OTHER apartments.
They enter your apartment without notice for no apparent reason. They refuse to perform basic maintenance though. And god help you if you need to get something accomplished.
Should we talk about how they randomly have cars towed to make their $50 referral fee'
They also lie when you move in, telling you "this is fine, that's okay, nobody cares if you do that" but then tell you otherwise when YOU DO IT.
The train passes roughly 30 times daily, blaring its' horn as if the engineer knows there are apartments nearby he might annoy. They keep ripping out trees and flowers and can't afford to keep up new landscaping. There is no night security, and if you try to call "EMERGENCY MAINTENANCE" you end up in an endless voicemail circle. It's quicker to call the cops.
When you complain about noise, they laugh. Only recently has parking become manageable, and that's because of their HUGE VACANCY RATE because people are moving out as fast as they can.
Warn your friends, warn anyone you see... DO NOT MOVE HERE.

YOU ARE AN IDIOT!!! The train conductor HAS to blow the horn because there is an intersection approaching. How dumb can you possibly be? Also if there is an EMERGANCY why would you call maintenance? Call the cops. 9-1-1! I have an idea since you have sure an issue why don??t you buy a house and when something break spend your own time and money and fix it yourself. I absolutely love living here and have never had to speak with management about anything. GREAT PLACE!

I've lived here since January and I fully agree! I've never had to call Maintenance for anything! In fact, when they do have to enter, it's to improve things, like our smoke/CO2 alarms, etc. They're great at shoveling snow, even today, which is pretty tough to keep up with. Oh, and I do love the sound of the train that goes by. Personal preference, I suppose. But nothing to blame the complex for!! Geez. Go buy a house is right!
