Decent place to live, great location

Lived here for a year and considering seriously staying here another year. I have mixed feelings about the apartment. The lighting in this place is difficult, expect to buy a variety of floor lamps. Nice big kitchen with nice looking fixtures, but carpet is cheap and tufts of it come up unbidden on occasion. Noise seems comparable to any other apartment living situation for the money. Sometimes you can hear your neighbors and pretty much always hear people walking past your front door, but nothing terrible. Obviously management has had some problems with construction, but over-all, has not impacted me inside my apartment. Good parking and nice community services. Expect to pay more on utilities, and heating system is spotty for a new place. Bottom line, for this medium level of rental pricing, you get a pretty good deal, with great amenities (washer/dryer in unit, dishwasher, nice fixtures, good exercise area, helpful staff), and you can't beat the location.
