My children moved into these apartments some time ago. Smells like the toilets have backed up. Constant partying and smell of marijuana in hallways. The apartments shown were obviously not the available or apartment they rented. You can hear your neighbor going to the bathroom and I do not mean number one. Outdoor lighting is unsafe, remember, you are viewing in the day time when most tenants are not home. Trash situation is unhealthy by legal standards both inside and out. Constant auto vandalism, including hit and run if you are able to find a place to park within walking distance to your apartment. Noise violations continue without response from management on any of the issues. The only good reviews you will see are from a tenant who also works for management. Neighbors are fearful of arriving home after dark in this complex. Please, do your homework before moving in, ask to go through other buildings, (even if the hallways) prior to moving in. They are desperate right now to keep or even sign up new tenants, making you believe that you are "granted" the special event of moving in although you might have a few flaws on credit or whatever. The flaws are what you will receive upon your move out. They have never given back to tenant a full refund of their deposit. Tenants continue to this day pursuing lawsuits against Greystar and The Summit for both damages and deposits. Do your homework!!!!!!!

It's a good thing I am a lawyer living in the apartments. Send your business my way. :) Honestly, I have a problem with dogs barking next door and I do hear neighbors but it's not that bad. Every problem (2 total so far within the last 5 months) has been fixed promptly and successfuly. I will agree that some hallways are smelly but not from pot but rather Indian food. Trash room can be messy but I have never seen trash anywhere else. My biggest annoyance is the neighbor with two dogs. Other than that I like the apt. We'll see what happens when I move out.

I have been at the Summit now for about 5 months and I have never smelled marijuana in the halls and I don't know what she's talking about with the trash.. yea the dumpster area is pretty trashy! duh. And the lighting outside -- if it were brighter, it would be a nuisance and keep me awake.

Yes, you might very well need a lawyer. I had the opportunity to speak privately with an ex-leasing agent for Summit who quit. She refused to continue the dirty dealings she was asked to take against the tenants by her bosses. They will do what they can to screw you - better have a lawyer handy.

"They have never given back to tenant a full refund of their deposit." This is slander. I lived in these apartments a year ago and got my full $500 deposit back. I bet your kids are the pot smokers and they blame it on their neighbors. Were you there cleaning at move-out? Do you know in what kind of state your children left their apartment? ALWAYS take pictures upon move-in and move-out so that you can prove the cleanliness of the apartment.

There does exist a problem with the trash. On the upper floors there is a chute to dump your trash into the dumpsters on the ground floor. It constantly backs up since they don't empty the dumpsters nearly often enough.
