When I moved in I thought the apartment would be nice as it had a nice floorplan and a washer & dryer, and also central air. The main dislike I had was cheap construction leading to excessive noise transmission from other apartments. As they have built garages over about half of the parking areas, it is often difficult to find a space closeby.

One winter we had a lot of snowfall, and I found the snow removal to be very inadequate, on a couple occasions residents were stranded as there was so much snow build-up that cars couldn't get out. There were too many dogs, barking and leaving mess on the lawns.

This is the first time I have ever had carpet cleaning deducted from my security deposit. When I got the final accounting after I moved out, I was amazed at the way most of my deposit was chiseled away. But by then I was just glad to be out of there.

I agree with the above statement, as I currently live here and am slated to be moving out within the next few months. Snow removal has always been an issue and there is never parking, due mainly to a lot of "work" trucks/vehicles and people parking in 2 spaces. I plan to utilize the cleaning "checklist" from our lease and have them do a walk-through prior to moving out and giving them our keys. I am determined to not forfit my security deposit on the account of their shortcomings. Thank you for the heads up....I now know I will have to hold my ground when it comes to the deposit (perhaps we will take pictures for proof)???
