I have not rented at Echo Ridge - but talked to them and had a hold on an apartment while I was looking to relocate from out of state. I had interviews in the area and paid a security deposit (that they cashed) to hold the apt. I was told by a leasing agent (who is no longer there) that if the interviews did not bring about a job, that I would get my security deposit back because there would be no proof of income in Colorado. After 3 or 4 weeks I knew from all the interviews that a job did not come about, so I asked to get my security deposit back. Nothing happened, I called, I e-mailed, many many times and no one ever responded back. After 4 months I was finally told that I would be getting my deposit back and it could take up to 30 days. Nothing has happened and it has been over a month. While the staff is kind and gracious, they are not honest and upfront. I will never do business with Echo Ridge - and recommend others to go elsewhere.
