The apartment was quite luxurious with a gas fireplace and a study in a 1bd. After paying the considerably high deposits with a cashier's check and perfect credit, I was welcomed on my first day with beer bottles on my balcony tossed up there by young thugs who lived below me - one of which was a shook up beer bomb that sprayed beer all over the place. Day one. Needless to say the parties continued almost every day for one month - loud music, unbelieveably loud thumps and thuds all day. The worst I have ever experienced and I have experienced it all since 1988. The staff maintained that only one person lived there - and he was a "nice person." But I counted at least 4 different people living an animal house lifestyle - and I was above it. I complained directly to the neighbor four times politely. Nothing helped. I moved out at the end of the FIRST month of an 8 month lease - couldn't take it anymore. Overall, the entire month cost $3,500 with deposits and penalties but it was worth every penny to pay to get out of there. I should mention that the place came with a W/D but wasn't told I had to pay rent on it until I signed the lease. $30 A MONTH - this was a minor distraction compared to the frat house below in addition to the carpets smelling of eye-watering ammonia. I also noticed, while I was waiting for a representative, how they dealt with potential leasees (suckers). The customer would ask questions about lease breaks and the rep would say the penalties are minimal - she gave him a round amount of a 100 bucks. To me, this is dishonest and possibly illegal. Forget this place - you'd be better off in a bunk in the prison across the street.
