I was happy with my time there, but on moving out I thought I'd get the majority of my deposits back. Not so. I paid in $700 in deposits, half of which are non-refundable. On top of the pet deposit, I paid a monthly $20 pet fee (Total of $240). Also, you would think the non-refundable Pet Deposit would cover the Biokill for carpet cleaning charge, you would be mistaken. They took that out of the refundable depost. Basically I got 30% of my deposit back. In my 10 years of renting at different apartment complexes, this has NEVER happened to me before. So all in all, this experience has ruined my previously good opinion of the place.

I went to rent.com and they plainly sated: "Terms: Lease Terms: 8-12 month terms offered. Security Deposit: $150-$250. Pet Policy: 2 max pets per unit, $20 pet rent per a pet, $200-$250 refundable pet deposit, $200-$250 non-refundable pet fee. Breed restrictions apply. Call for restrictions. For more information, please call toll free at (866) 693-9291 ext. 1497 or check availability. " Now that seems pretty "in plain English" to me.

it is "in plain English", but what she is stating is that she assumed the non-refundable pet deposit would cover the crap carpets they use, and she would get her refundable deposit back. maybe before you go and try and add you two sence into a GOOD review, you should READ what she wrote a couple of times.
