Let me start by saying that if you read the review titled "anyone have a tent'" I can tell you to disregard every word. I lived at Rolling Hills for 3 years and the psychotic maniacal moron that wrote that review lived very close to me and drove the entire building crazy. He was certifiably WHACKO and no matter what the management did, he worked hard at finding other things to gripe and complain about. They went out of their way to try to make him happy, but since all he did was lay on his butt while his wife supported him he had WAY too much time on his hands. According to his wife he had gotten them thrown out of every apartment they lived in, including Rolling Hills. Everything he said was b.s. so ignore it. I witnessed it first hand!

I lived there for almost 3 years and only moved because my commute to work got much longer. I just moved out, but they are getting ready to re-model the whole place and make it even nicer. Yes, they've had several management companies, but recently it's been a major improvement. They have more maintenance men and they get to your issues very quickly. They are trying to keep the dog poo cleaned up more, since there are a few losers there that won't clean up after their dogs. The construction is rather poor as far as noise above you. I would highly suggest a 3rd floor unit. I moved from a 2nd floor unit to a 3rd floor because I had an exceptionally disrespectful person living above me who stomped around or turned his stereo on in the bedroom keeping me awake all night.
I had a MILLION DOLLAR VIEW of the mountains and The Rock since I lived in one of the west facing buildings that you see as you drive up to the complex. It is quiet up here, the place is out of the way, and you don't have the crime that you have at other complexes with people breaking into your car, etc... I've lived in MANY apartment complexes all over the U.S. and none of them are wonderful to live in, even the expensive ones. Overall I recommend it. I liked it there very much.

I think I know the fat toad, who tried to start a fist fight at the dumpster because I didn't tie a trash bag, then he let his three dogs crap all over the place and was too lazy to pick up after him. Sounds about like the bozo. The place is a pretty good deal, most folks keep to themselves and it was pretty quiet most of the time. I liked my nearly four years there, and miss the views of the canyon to the east of the property and the Front Range vistas. Management was hit-or-miss, and I lost count of all the managers coming in through the revolving door, and all of the new owners every nine months or so. Hopefully the new folks will do fine.
