I'll start of with the benefits; Rolling Hills offers great views and a fairly quiet place to call home. It's somewhat off the beaten path while still being close to shopping, dining, etc. I particularly like the walking path to the South of the tennis court. You can go up there and get a really great view for miles.

HOWEVER, there are more negative aspects than positive ones. Recently, the washer in the unit above me was installed incorrectly, and water was running down into my apartment. After fixing the problem, the maintenance crew failed to replace the cover over my air conditioner, leaving the guts of the a/c and heating unit on display, and left my hallway light on all day long (at a point when i'm specifically concentrating on bringing my electric bill down). The staff changes almost every month. As soon as I feel comfortable talking to one of the office people, they quit or get fired. Then i'm forced to deal with someone that knows nothing about customer service. I go out of my way to be pleasant and friendly with them and they act like i'm a pain. The hot tub didn't work until July, and who knows when they finally took all their old broken supplies out of the sauna... i was never able to use it. I also had to use the laundry facility once because they damaged my dryer installing it, and it was FOUL. Completely filthy. I didn't even feel like my clothes would be clean after using the facility. Also, the gas bill is divied up by building, so even if you don't use your a/c or heating at all, you get a bill because your neighbor did, which i just think is shady.

I wouldn't recommend this area, but I suppose it's better than some of the places available. The rent is decent and as long as you never need to talk to anyone in the office and nothing in your apartment ever breaks, you'll be good to go!
