I moved here several years ago and stayed because it felt like home - the staff was great and the neighbors too. At the begining of this year the complex was bought by a new landlord and the management and maintenance staff was all replaced. There have been over 25 move outs of long time residents since then. I would move out today if I could get out of my contract. I have health problems and I asked to move to a new apartment when my lease ran out so I could be on the first floor - they told me I'd have to pay over $200. Then I had several maintenance problems in a row. Although they tried to fix them, they made more problems. Last winter I had to put plastic up on all the windows and the sliding glass door - it was still cold. It's only September and it's already cold again. The grounds are not kept up, there was a used condom in front of my building for 6 days and I don't dare let my son crawl in the grass - there is glass, ciggarette butts, etc. They try to fix the many many deep pot holes by hand mixing asphalt and spreading it. It only lasts 2 weeks. There is a major pigeon and mice problem. I have asthma and have asked several times to have my air conditioner/heater filter replaced - they said they will only do it once a year. The manager does nothing (unless you count being rude and standing outside smoking) the pool is never cleaned or the water balance maintained, there is dog poop everywhere. They can't even take care of the bookkeeping and keep telling me I owe extra money every month - I have to go in with my lease to show them how much I owe! I wish I had not renewed my lease and we will be moving as soon as possible. I don't know about the mold mentioned in another review, but we have to shower with the window wide open to avoid mold in the bathroom (yes I put a cloth up so no one can see in) so, it would not surprise me at all! Save yourself a lot of headache and trouble. Don't move here.

ps, I have talked to the manager several times about the noise problem - you can hear everything through these paper thin walls - she moved a noisy family with kids above me just because she doesn't like me. Now I have noise all day and night! DONT MOVE HERE!!!!
