This place is horrid!

I recently moved out of these apartments and I would suggest not moving into the place. 3 DAYS after we moved in the pipes that run under building 8 backed up and flooded our entire apartment, there was an inch of standing water, and they fixed that problem by tear up only about 5 feet of carpet to get a fan under the carpet to dry it out. In the process of pulling up the carpet the "HANDYMAN" that was obviously found on the corner of Colorado Blvd and Alameda holding a will work for food sign completely destroyed the wall with a crowbar, I mean he TORE THAT WALL UP! At one point we had a nice fire place but after that guy got a hold of the wall I was too afraid of a gas leak to use it. The apartment flooding again about 7 months later and this time there solution was even better than the first time. This time the "HANDYMAN" who I am pretty sure lived at the YMCA and I am fairly certain was the same guy that hand mixed the "POTHOLE PATCH" just walked into our apartment and threw down what I can only assume was baby powder in a lame attempt to combat the moisture as he put it. After throwing down 10 1/2 pounds of the mysterious white powder he broke out the big guns and started to vacuum wet carpet. The people that lived above us, or should I say the Cobra Kai martial arts academy were the loudest people in the world. They would practice their flying cheetah snap kicks and full body slams until 4 or 5 in the morning. They would make so much noise and would beat on the floor so hard that you could hear the floor joists crack. I can't tell you how many times this was brought up to the management and nothing was done. You have to constantly be on the lookout for dog bombs, you had to fight for a parking spot because of abandoned cars (A GOLD FIERO AND BLUE BUICK JUST TO NAME A FEW) If you didn't have an SUV with a ground clearance of at least 6 inches you would be swallowed up by the numerous potholes that when you drove over them you felt as though you were reentering the atmosphere from a space exploration. The side walks were not safe, if you weren't dodging dog bombs you were dodging cigarette butts, not too mention the occasional used condom or broken bottle. Needless to say that place is horrid, they just want your money and they do not care about your safety or comfort. AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE!!!

SEE, that's what I'm talking about! I have a child and I wouldn't let him play outside because he could die from all the crap on the ground or sidewalk! I also have very noisy neighbors, and even though they are nice, they don't respect privacy or quiet time! I've also mentioned it and they did NOTHING to help me. I've called the police about 7 times in 15 months because my child and I couldn't sleep - still nothing has been done by management (and I'm not one to call the cops, but seriously, standing under our bedroom windows screaming and smoking pot and throwing beer bottles? that's too mucht!) I totally agree with this review - it doesn't get worse than this place!

I completely understand the abandoned car. We have had this car in the lot since we moved in and the air bag has been deployed and we were told that the car belonged to the people they just evicted and it would be moved eventually. 5 months later and still waiting. I completely agree!!
