Overall, the Orchards at Cherry Creek park is a nice place to live. It's inexpensive, conveniently located, and is in a safe neighborhood. Like all properties, it has some disadvantages. One disadvantage is maintenance; the maintenance staff do the best they can, but they are overwhelmed; 3 people just can't maintain over 260 units by themselves. As with other properties, dog owners don't pick up after their dogs, and smokers tend to throw cigarette butts on the ground. Neither of these are the fault of the property owner, but the place would look a lot nicer if these factors were more tightly controlled.

One thing to note is the water quality at Orchards is the lowest I've seen at any property. I have no way to know whether this is the fault of the city or an issue with the plumbing, but either way be forewarned that the water here is very hard. Dishes washed in the dishwasher will frequently come out with a white residue that is quite difficult to remove. Dishes washed by hand must be dried immediately; if they are allowed to soak, the same white residue will appear. The shower walls will have the same stuff on them, but it comes off with some scrubbing. Also, your car will develop the same white buildup as a result of the sprinkler system, and is quite difficult to clean. I don't know whether this would be an issue if you rent a carport. I do not recommend drinking the water or feeding it to your pets, unless you use some kind of filtration system. Bottled water may be a more convenient alternative.

All in all, the Orchards is still a nice place to live, and the minor issues you see there are things you're likely to encounter at any property. It is a comfortable, safe, and affordable place to live in the Aurora/Parker area.

wow..people really need to get better use of their time than writing ugly reviews! I work in the office and no one posted this from here! you get break ins anywhere! next door at the pinnacle it happend more there than at the orchards! its called the sucky economy! I hope who ever is leaving at the end of their leases is gone soon! nobody is responsible for break ins except the criminal who did it! that's why there is car insurance! we do take pride in our property and we do a good job at it! Thanks!!!!

Who in the office wrote this? Anyone can call the Arapahoe Sherriffs to find out how many car and apartment break ins there have been. You call that safe? Hope you don't get mugged with all the outdoor lights burned out, orthe ice they don't use snow melt on. Let's not even mention the mold issues...

Totally agree who in the office wrote this. I would not recommend this place to anyone. The owner is cheap and does not fix anything. If he is so under staffed then why not get more people. Ugh no excuses for this and it is not safe!!! They broke into my car 3 times this summer. Once my lease is done Im out.

You who are supposed to be a rep for what the property stands for is slamming your own residents telling them you want them to move out. hahaha, you are sad and is no wonder that we all KNOW that the help in the office is ------! Run people RUN! Do you know how many people have worked in that office and at the end they all get screwed over by Renee and that will not exclude you, so stop defending the property like you own it!
