Overall the apartments are ok....this is really the ONLY option for apartments in Gilpin County. The rent is TOO high, but better than most houses up here for rent that are over $1000 a month. If you are a single person the rent isn't that great, you'd be better off living in golden or lakewood and commuting up here. They need to build 3 bedroom apartments. It is true that there is a lot of dog poop everywhere..and if you like the wind this is the best place to live. People that live up here are usually living paycheck to paycheck which makes it hard to always pay rent on time, they charge you an arm and a leg with late charges so it makes it really hard to get caught up on your rent. Overall I say if you don't have to live up here then don't. You can find a way nicer and CHEAPER apartment to live in down the hill, and if you work up here then commute, you'll go broke if you don't.
