Altamira has completely turned around in the last few months. The property used to look like a total slum. The management has cleaned it up completely. They evicted dozens of dirty, obnoxious people. The grounds are beautiful and newly re-landscaped. They brought in new exercise equipment, remodeled the apartments, and are bringing in nice, neighborly people. Those negative reviews are hilarious - coming from people who can't even spell correctly, it is pretty clear that they were part of the mass eviction. Don't put any faith in those comments. Altamira is the best place to live in SW Colorado Springs!
