I have lived in this community for 6 months and here are a few things I notice wrong. The walls are very thin, so thin you can't avoid hearing neighbors fight, have sex, and crying children. I have had complaints from neighbors downstairs, since I lived upstairs, that even gently walking on the floors are loud to them. Unfortunately, there is nothing I could have done about that, unless I just stopped walking around my apartment. Then, there are people who live around here who have pets and forget or are ignorant to pick up after their own pet mess and this can get pretty frustrating, since it's like avoiding land mines out here. The maintenance team is pretty good, except when it came to the parking lots getting plowed with tons of ice and snow from the last snow storm. Colorado Springs really is a faith based community! I guess they want us to pray that the snow will melt without putting any salt or sand on it. Now here comes the office staff. What can I say about these people' Well, world class morons who are insensitive and very corporate with every answer they give to your needs because after you have signed the lease, there is no reason to give a crap about you. At least that's what it feels like with them. Some guy named ---- that works there is pretty useless, he always seems like a space cadet to me. The assistant manager may as well be a ---- and the manager is a heartless ----- who goes so by the books that I would only assume she's a kiss ass employee. There are other minor problems as well, but we learned to live and deal with it. I was so happy to get out of that place and wouldn't recommend anyone to live there if they could help it!
Also, if you should be so lucky, maybe you'll get my apartment if you rent this space out and be forced to join a dungeons and dragons festival everyday by your lovely incoherent neighbors around late afternoon til some odd hours of the night, and even after on the weekends!

I completely understand how you feel! Thank you for posting your honest and blunt opinion on this web site. My husband and I made the mistake of ignoring these types of comments before signing a 1 year lease on our last place... and we regretted that every single day that we were there! My husband and I will be moving to Colorado Springs in the beginning of May and this complex looked great on forrent.com, but after reading these reviews, we will probably go else where. Thank you!!!

Briarglen- There are a few tings that I haven't liked about the complex. But It is a nice place. I would reccomend this apartment if it were in a nicer area. 1.This is the only real problem I have found and it is a big one. it is not so much regarding the apartment just the area. I would not move here knowing what I know now. It is a nice complex with friendly staff but living across from the mall is a disaster. Let's just say people like to steal tires and rims around here. I have personally had my tire slashed. A friend of mine has had his tire stolen. We came outside one night to find his car was put on a jack. They took out the stem of it so we had to put another jack on to get the other one off. Also i have seen vehicles put on rocks as well. Living by the mall is an invitation for all the little "thug" kids. Or anyone just looking to steal. They wander round late at night and really cause trouble.And this happened in the winter. Just think of what the summer will be like. 2. The walls are soo thin. We can hear our neighbors conversations, coughing, crying..etc. But.. A lot of apartments have thin walls. 3. I have personally found the staff to be very helpful and polite. Except for ------ the -------- lady. Stay away from her she is pretty bitchy to the residents. ---- and ------ are great though. They learn who you are and seem to really care. 4. Maintanance guys are nice. they seem to get things done quickly and effeciently. 5. The apartments themselves are nice. They could use a little updating but for the most part are great. I would totally recommend this apartment if it were in a nicer area. Good luck with your apartment search.

The writer of this is totally wrong. The management is wonderful and ---- and ------ ar great people. Rules are made to be followed not broken so you are a misguided, misinformed and probably a bad former tenent.
