Detailed Review from residents who have lived here a year.

Years at this apartment: 2008 - 2009
Good:
-Staff is nice
-Pets allowed
-Dog Bag Stations
-Tennis Court, Basketball Court, Pool, Exercise Room, Playground
-Close to Chapel Hills Mall as well as many office buildings (convenient to where we work)
-Covered Parking with good lighting
-Good lighting in doorways and walkways for safety
-Each apartment has its own individual entrance
-Porches!
-Rent payments due on the 3rd of each month
-For smokers: They allow you to smoke in your apartment
Bad:
-Management doesn't really care about you once you've moved in.
-They say the $200 pet deposit covers cleaning the floor when you move (which costs just the $200), but they make you pay it for EACH pet and it is nonrefundable and, from what they've told me, does not cover for any damage the animals might do.
-Dog Bag Stations can sometimes go for months without bags
-LOUD LOUD LOUD!!! The maintenance people have an ATV they drive around that is VERY loud, most of the neighbors are loud, especially if you live by the parking areas, and I guess they are not picky with who they let live here because we've had some problems with violence and theft in some areas. Also if you live near the main roads you can hear people street racing (and half the people in the neighborhood have fart-pipes on their cars)
-It's not all that safe since it is next to the Chapel Hills Mall and there are bored teens who like to break into people's cars. I wouldn't trust the place enough to let my cat outside by himself at night.
-Since they allow smoking in the apartments, if you are not a smoker and your neighbors smoke, you will most likely come home to a place that smells like a cheap smokey hotel room.
-Have to share the price of water utilities with your entire building.
-They water the lawns so much that mosquitoes have actually started breeding in the puddles and the parking lot is often flooded.
If you move here, get an apartment facing toward the inside of the complex and as far away from Chapel Hills Dr and Mirage Dr as possible unless you like the sounds of drunk kids and fart-pipes. The complex itself is very nice and it's a good place to live in, but you can't choose your neighbors. The price is pretty good, and it's spacious enough.
