Wish I would have read these reviews B4 moving in... From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 12/23/2007 Years at this apartment: 2007 - 2007   All of the negative reviews are pretty much right on. After touring the model unit I was sold. At the time I signed the lease, I was in dire need of housing and thought that this place was going to be awesome. It's not... This place is anything but "luxury." Kitchen setup was poorly planned by the architect as well as many other things. Fixtures and appliances are shoddy. Dishwasher doesn't clean the top rack well. Our drier takes 2 hours to dry an average load of shirts. Our washing machine works fine but neighbor says his just "stops" in the middle of a load. All of this is not that big of a deal to me. The biggest drawback to this place are the PAPER THIN ceilings. I live on the 2nd floor and can hear literally EVERY step from the neighbors above. Sounds like they are stomping on the floor. I can hear their alarm clock at 5:45 every morning. I can hear them open their drawers, put the toilet seat down/up, run their sink, doing laundry and dishes, even opening/closing their refrigerator. It just pisses me off that I was lied to by Angelica. During the initial meeting with her when I first came to check this place out, I told her that my biggest concern is with noise. She assured me that this place was quiet. What a joke. Oh yeah, I'm pretty sure that our neighbors can hear me have sex. They'll turn on their TV late at night as soon as we start getting down. I feel bad for them but not bad enough to stop having sex. My situation is unfortunate. The neighbors upstairs have to hear me having sex and I have to hear their every step...Avoid this place unless you are deaf and can turn off your hearing aids. This place would be fantastic if the noise wasn't an issue. It's just that the noise problem is THAT bad. I can't wait until my lease is up.
