I just moved here and unlike the 2007 posts, the apartments are no longer outdated. My apartment and many others in this community are or are being remodeled. The apartment is spacious but does have a small (1) bathroom.

Currently there is only one thing I don't like about my particular apartment...the smell of NICOTINE. Also the people who lived here before me must've had a cat because I can smell that smell when people don't keep up the litter box. It's quite faint but unfortunately for me, I have a very sensitive nose.

Also, a momma bear & her cubs like it over here since they do frequent this area.

I must add that the community is quite friendly. I've only been here for a month and was invited to a community BBQ which was a blast. I'm a friendly person but wasn't able to connect with anyone at my last home (Retreat at Cheyenne Mtn). People there were, I hate to say this, but real snooty and kept to themselves...at least in my building.

The grounds here are well kept, a carport is included in the rent which is very, very reasonable and you get a storage unit with the carport...Way Coooool!!! The remodeled apartments have brand new double-paned windows will surely be a joy this winter.

Most of the tenants here are older (50 ) but the ages range as I am 40 and I've seen much younger families with small toddlers around as well.

I'm using baking soda sprinkled on my carpet to suck up the nicotine smell that is probably in the wood underneath and that seems to be really helping. We've also taped up the old flow thru vents and that has helped a lot too.

If all goes well, I'm planning to be here a long time (Years, perhaps). So as you can see I really like it here and I'm hopeful.
