Years at this apartment: 2007 - 2008
We had a first floor apt. with 2 bed / 2 bath. Definitely would recommend a first floor for cooler rooms and not going up steep stairs.
PRO's: Price, location to downtown and Ft. Carson, pool, parking usually good.
CON's: Kitchen space, rugs are dirty, 2 sq. ft of patio, smelled like smoke, security gate, 115 can be loud.
Advice:
1. Get a first floor apt. on that doesn't face 115 and due south (not a lot of options).
2. See more than one apt. to make sure you get all amenities that are available (we missed out on a couple of ceiling fans, large mirrors, and other fixtures that our neighbors had).
